Day 1: Amritsar to Srinagar (By Road/Train/Flight)

Your scenic journey begins from Amritsar, the city of the Golden Temple. Depending on your preferred mode of travel, drive or take a flight/train to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. On arrival, check into your hotel or houseboat and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing shikara ride on Dal Lake, witnessing floating gardens and houseboats. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin exploring Srinagar’s cultural and natural beauty. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Later, head to the Shankaracharya Temple perched on a hilltop for a panoramic view of the city. You can spend the evening enjoying the peaceful ambiance by the lake or explore the local markets for Kashmiri handicrafts. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3: Day Trip to Gulmarg (Approx. 50 km / 2 hrs one way)

After breakfast, drive to the picturesque Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers." On arrival, take the thrilling Gondola cable car ride up to Apharwat Peak for a breathtaking view of snow-clad mountains. Depending on the season, enjoy activities like skiing, snowboarding, or horse riding. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam (Approx. 90 km / 2.5–3 hrs)

Post breakfast, travel to the serene Pahalgam, often called the "Valley of Shepherds." En route, pass through saffron fields and visit the ancient Awantipora Ruins. In Pahalgam, enjoy riverside walks or explore Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, or go on a pony ride. Spend the evening relaxing amid natural beauty. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 5: Pahalgam to Sonmarg (Approx. 180 km / 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your drive to Sonmarg, the "Meadow of Gold." En route, take in the mesmerizing beauty of Kashmir’s mountains and valleys. Upon arrival, explore Thajiwas Glacier (via pony or local vehicle) or enjoy short hikes by the river. Sonmarg is perfect for snow activities in winter and stunning alpine views in summer. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Day 6: Sonmarg to Srinagar – Free Evening (Approx. 80 km / 2.5–3 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive back to Srinagar and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for personal activities – shop for Kashmiri shawls and dry fruits, or relax at a café with views of the lake. If you haven’t yet, you can choose to spend this night on a traditional houseboat for a unique local experience. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 7: Srinagar to Amritsar – Departure

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Amritsar via flight/train or by road. With your heart full of memories and camera roll full of magical landscapes, your Kashmir Escapade comes to a beautiful end.
