Day 1: Amritsar to Katra (Approx. 260 km / 6–7 hrs)

Begin your spiritual and scenic journey from Amritsar, driving through the rolling hills and countryside of Punjab into Jammu. Arrive at Katra, the base town for Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra. Check in to your hotel and relax, preparing for the trek. You may choose to start the Vaishno Devi Darshan the same evening or early next morning depending on your convenience. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2: Vaishno Devi Darshan

Early in the morning, embark on the sacred trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine (13 km one way) on foot, pony, or helicopter (optional). The divine energy of the hills and chants of fellow pilgrims make this journey truly uplifting. After darshan, return to Katra by evening and rest. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 3: Katra to Patnitop (Approx. 80 km / 2.5 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to the serene hill station of Patnitop, known for its pine forests, mountain views, and fresh air. Visit Nag Temple, walk through Pine Forest Trails, or simply enjoy panoramic views of the Chenab basin. It’s a peaceful break before heading to the Valley of Kashmir. Overnight stay in Patnitop.

Day 4: Patnitop to Srinagar (Approx. 180 km / 6 hrs)

After a relaxing morning, continue your journey to Srinagar, the jewel of Kashmir. On arrival, check into your hotel or traditional houseboat. In the evening, take a calm shikara ride on Dal Lake, witnessing floating markets and mountain reflections in the water. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 5: Day Excursion to Gulmarg (Approx. 50 km / 2 hrs one way)

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, famed for its green meadows and winter snow sports. Enjoy the Gondola ride up to Apharwat Peak for breathtaking Himalayan views. Depending on the season, enjoy skiing or simply walk around the charming landscape. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 6: Day Excursion to Sonmarg (Approx. 80 km / 2.5–3 hrs one way)

Today, take a scenic drive to Sonmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold." Explore the alpine beauty, walk by the river, and optionally take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier. Day 7: Srinagar Local Sightseeing – Return to Amritsar

After breakfast, explore Srinagar’s iconic sites like the Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, Shankaracharya Temple, and the vibrant local markets. Post sightseeing, begin your journey back to Amritsar via road or flight/train transfer as per your preference.
