Day 1: Amritsar to Jammu (Approx. 200 km / 5–6 hrs)

Begin your dream journey from the holy city of Amritsar, heading north towards Jammu, the gateway to the Himalayas. Enjoy a comfortable drive through the plains of Punjab into the lush hills of Jammu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Day 2: Jammu to Srinagar (Approx. 270 km / 8–9 hrs)

Today, travel through scenic valleys and winding mountain roads to reach Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir. On arrival, check into a charming hotel or a traditional houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful shikara ride on Dal Lake, soaking in views of snow-capped peaks and floating gardens. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar to Sonmarg to Kargil (Approx. 220 km / 7–8 hrs)

Post breakfast, depart for Sonmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” From here, cross the exhilarating Zoji La Pass and continue through the spectacular Himalayan landscapes to Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Visit the Kargil War Memorial, then proceed to Kargil. Check-in and rest for the night. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 4: Kargil to Leh (Approx. 220 km / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, set out for Leh, driving through some of Ladakh’s most remarkable spots. Visit the majestic Lamayuru Monastery, explore Mulbekh Buddha, and witness the dramatic Moonland terrain. Don’t miss photo stops at Magnetic Hill, Sangam Point (Indus–Zanskar confluence), and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Reach Leh by evening and relax. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing & Acclimatization

Spend this day exploring Leh’s cultural heritage and acclimatizing to the altitude. Visit the Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the Hall of Fame Museum. Later, explore Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and nearby Tibetan villages. Enjoy a relaxed evening exploring Leh Bazaar. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx. 125 km / 4–5 hrs)

Get ready for an adventure as you cross the world-famous Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) en route to Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery, known for its giant Buddha statue, and enjoy the sand dunes at Hunder, where you can take a Bactrian camel ride. Overnight stay in a Nubra Valley camp.

Day 7: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route (Approx. 6 hrs)

Day 8: Pangong to Leh via Chang La (Approx. 150 km / 5–6 hrs)

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over Pangong Lake—a magical experience. After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest passes in the world. Enjoy short breaks along the route and reach Leh by afternoon. Rest, shop for souvenirs, or relax at a local café. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 9: Leh to Sarchu (Approx. 250 km / 7–8 hrs)

Today, begin your descent from Leh towards Sarchu, crossing several high-altitude passes including Tanglang La and Lachulung La. Drive through More Plains, a surreal high-altitude plateau. Sarchu, on the border of Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, is known for its rugged beauty and starry night skies. Overnight stay in tents at Sarchu.

Day 10: Sarchu to Manali (Approx. 230 km / 7–8 hrs)

After an early breakfast, drive through the dramatic terrain of Baralacha La, Zingzing Bar, and Keylong to reach Manali. This route offers unmatched views of rivers, canyons, and glaciers. Arrive in Manali by evening and check into your hotel. Relax after the adventurous drive. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 11: Manali to Amritsar (Approx. 400 km / 10–11 hrs)
