9-Day Ladakh Marvel: Chandigarh to the Mountains
Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali (Approx. 300 km / 8–9 hrs)
Your adventurous journey begins from Chandigarh, driving through scenic valleys, pine forests, and winding roads towards Manali. On arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. Spend the evening at leisure strolling on Mall Road or enjoying local Himachali cuisine. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 2: Manali to Jispa (Approx. 140 km / 6–7 hrs)
Today, embark on a thrilling drive across the Rohtang Pass (if open) and explore stunning valleys like Lahaul and Spiti. Continue your journey along the Chandra River to reach Jispa, a tranquil Himalayan village. The road is dotted with waterfalls, glaciers, and surreal mountain landscapes. Day 3: Jispa to Sarchu (Approx. 90 km / 4–5 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive through dramatic mountain terrain, passing Baralacha La Pass (16,040 ft) and beautiful lakes en route to Sarchu—a popular overnight halt for Leh travelers. Day 4: Sarchu to Leh (Approx. 250 km / 8–9 hrs)
Begin your journey early today as you head to Leh, passing through high mountain passes like Nakee La, Lachung La, and Tanglang La—one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The views are breathtaking, with winding roads cutting through barren yet stunning terrain. Reach Leh by evening and rest. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing
Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude. Explore local attractions including Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the bustling Leh Market. Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh (Approx. 160 km / 5–6 hrs)

Day 9: Leh to Manali / Chandigarh – Departure
Early morning, begin your return journey via the same route or take a flight (optional) if available. If traveling by road, reach Manali and then continue back to Chandigarh.
